In 1979, the founding partners of the company came together, combining their industry experience and resources to construct a 1,110-unit condominium project in the City of Brampton. It was the first stepping stone for a company that would go on to become a major player in the Greater Toronto Area’s high-rise residential, commercial and institutional sectors, having developed and constructed dozens of high-profile addresses throughout the region.
Early projects centered around social and government housing in the 1980’s but it was the burgeoning condominium market of the 90’s where the company really made its name, including The Regency Yorkville, an ultra-luxurious highrise in Yorkville which the company designed, financed, built and marketed.
With a hands-on ownership group that is active in all facets of the company’s operations and a core of experienced field and office personnel, The Hi-Rise Group has developed a winning formula for completing projects on-time, within budget and to exact specifications.
It’s a formula that has proven successful with each of the company’s projects, not only with the more than 11,000 condominiums, apartment units and townhomes which it has built but also with its commercial developments, ranging from government office buildings to regional police headquarters.
